Hydrant La Mode

Hydrant La Mode

This hydrant lives on West 13th Street and Greenwich Avenue. It happens every time. It does not matter what subject I am photographing, with in five minute, there will be a few tourists walking by and stopping to take a shot for themselves. May be they think, since I am spending so much time composing the shot, it must be a landmark. The guy in this photo thought I was photographing the store window. First he looked at me, then at the mannequins in the store window. Then he walked up to the window and took out his point-n-shoot camera. Since he was half way in my shot anyway, I shifted my tripod to the right and included him in the composition.
